The grand reopening of Holland Casino’s Enschede location on September 19 was a cause for celebration after a year-long renovation. The venue has been transformed into a more modern and guest-friendly establishment, meeting all the standards set by Holland Casino for its modern facilities. Mayor Roelof Bleker led a ceremonial act to mark the reopening, which was a private event.
“We have managed to keep the impact on our guests to a minimum,” said Paapst, emphasizing that guest satisfaction remained a top priority throughout the construction. “They continued to visit us throughout the year, and their appreciation remained high.”
In addition to the modernized design, Holland Casino Enschede now features the Taste Brasserie & Wines, a fresh dining concept that enhances the overall experience for visitors. Paapst noted that the new look and feel of the casino fully meets the needs of guests and is ready to grow further.
The reopening event, themed “Red Couture,” showcased the unique blend of tradition and innovation that Holland Casino Enschede embodies. The connection between the casino and Enschede’s rich history in textile craftsmanship was highlighted during the festivities, reflecting the city’s deep-rooted heritage while embracing the future.
CEO Petra de Ruiter expressed pride in the team’s achievement in renovating the casino, despite the current economic climate. “Such a renovation in this day and age is not self-evident,” she said. “The fact that we have been able to set up such a fantastic casino in Enschede is therefore extra special to me.” Reflecting on the cost-saving decisions made during the renovation, she mentioned that the fourth floor was not renovated at this time.
As part of its revised corporate strategy, Holland Casino is committed to investing in its venues to remain attractive to visitors. The renovated casino in Enschede is a testament to the company’s dedication to providing a top-notch experience for guests, with a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
